ASPEN Clusters are Alive and Well!

ASPEN Clusters are groups of 6-12 people who meeting in homes for support, sharing, prayer, worship and evangelism. Five Clusters have formed and are meeting weekly.  We rejoice that people are finding Jesus' presence in the Clusters.

A New Priority

At a meeting of the three area Mennonite churches, 10 potential steps to advance the work of Jesus here in the Valley were identified.  At a follow-up congregational meeting, we at Emmanuel have narrowed our priority down to one.  The new priority is: DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT A PLAN FOR CONNECTING WITH NON-CHURCHED PEOPLE.  Included in the plan is talking about our faith, and our church, and inviting people to the Lord and to the Church.

Individuals and committees are now in a  time of listening -- to see what the Spirit is saying.  The ideas from this time of listening will be brought to the congregation and woven into a plan.  Your prayers are appreciated
